Note 1: The Standard Black Lab system includes:

Black Lab data acquisition hardware
CD with all software (Pocket PC and Desktop) plus Use's Manual
CIM1 (user may substitute - see Note 6 below)
RS-232 cable (to connect Black Lab to Desktop or Notebook PC)
Null serial adapter (used with Serial AutoSync cable)
External AC/DC power supply (powers the Black Lab)

Note 2: If battery operation is desired, order this version of the Black Lab which adds a bracket (with belt clip) to the enclosure for mounting and connecting the battery. Battery and charger need to be ordered separately. For more information see the Battery Option page.

Note 3: Battery inserts into battery bracket (see Note 2).

Note 4: One CIM1 comes standard with the Black Lab system. Other CIMs can be substituted for CIM1 with a credit applied to the invoice. For more information regarding CIM options see the CIM Information page.

Note 5: If you only require 12V sensor excitation, then CIM3X provides a less expensive version of CIM3.

Note 6: When a Black Lab system is purchased with this invoice and the customer would like to purchase one of the other CIM choices (CIM2, CIM3, CIM3X, or CIM4) instead of CIM1, (which is included in the price), a $100 credit is applied to the price of the CIM purchased.

Note 7: For information on what Pocket PC's have been evaluated for use with the Black Lab and how to purchase a Pocket PC either on your own or through Analog Interfaces, please consult the Recommended Pocket PC's page.

(Please note: If you are purchasing your own Pocket PC you need to also purchase a Serial AutoSync cable to connect between the Black Lab and the Pocket PC.)

Note 8: Rugged protection for the IPAQ Pocket PC. For protection during use in the field, the IPAQ should be ruggedized. This option includes a metal protective case, the required RS-232 (autosync) interface cable, and a rugged strain relief clamp to securely fasten the autosync cable to the IPAQ. Note 9: Accessories

BLA-201 256 Mb SD Memory Card for use with the Pocket PC. This option will be priced at current market price plus a small charge.

BLA-202 Belt with pouch to hold a Pocket PC in the field.
