Criteria for Evaluating Portability of a

Data Acquisition System

A few considerations may come to mind when seeking a portable data acquisition system. The bottom line is: "Can I record the signal data from my devices while using a portable system". Also how portable is the system really ? Hopefully a few of those concerns are addressed on this page. Please note the Black Lab does meet all the items listed below.

Can you carry your entire DAS system, along with cables and sensors, in a back pack (or briefcase)?

Are you sacrificing some of these key data acquisition features in order to get portability?
